Child Safety Standards
These are the published standards of The Bro App (BRO), operated by BroTech LLC, against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). BRO is an adults-only (18+) application, and we maintain a zero-tolerance approach to CSAE and child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.
Adults only (18+)
- BRO is strictly for adults aged 18 and older. Users must confirm they are 18 or older to create an account, and an age gate is enforced at sign-up.
- The app is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 18.
- Any account found to belong to a person under 18 is removed. We proactively remove underage accounts when identified.
Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
- We strictly prohibit any content, conduct, or account that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits children - including CSAM, grooming, and any attempt to solicit, contact, or engage a minor.
- Violations result in immediate removal of the content and a permanent ban of the account.
Reporting child safety concerns
- The Bro App (BRO) allows users to report child safety concerns in-app. Any member can block and report a profile or message directly within the app.
- You can also report a child safety concern to us by email at help@broapp.com. We review reports promptly.
How we respond
- We review reports and remove violating content and accounts.
- Where we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material, we preserve the relevant information and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the appropriate authorities, and cooperate with law enforcement as required by applicable law.
