Delete your BRO account & data
The Bro App (BRO) for Android, at bro.social / broapp.com, is operated by BroTech LLC. This page explains how to delete your BRO account and the data associated with it, and what is removed versus kept.
Option 1 - Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the BRO app and tap your profile, then Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Option 2 - Request by email
Email delete@broapp.com from the email address or phone number on your account, with the subject "Delete my account." We verify ownership and process your request within 30 days.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Deleted / removed right away:
- Your profile, photos, bio, and prompts
- Your visibility - your account is deactivated and no longer appears to or is usable by other members
- Your messages stop being shown in your conversations
Kept for a limited time, then deleted:
- To meet legal, safety, and fraud-prevention obligations, a limited set of records (for example account identifiers, moderation and abuse-report records, and purchase/transaction records) may be kept in a de-identified or limited form, and only for as long as the law requires. De-identified records no longer identify you.
We do not sell your personal data. Subscriptions purchased on Android are billed by Google Play; to stop future charges, cancel in the Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions (deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription).
